Sample Courses
I have taught the first two of the following courses before, while the second two courses are ones I hope to teach in the near future. All of my courses are intensive writing course, reflected in the complexity of the formal essays, together with the use of listserv and in-class writing assignments. The first two courses are based on a ten week quarter system, the second two are designed with a sixteen week semester system in mind. I also have included a sample workshop from a series of teaching development workshops for advanced literature TAs in order to illustrate some of the assumptions and methods I bring to workshop design.
