Writer's Memo

On a separate, typed sheet of paper, answer the following questions:

1.What do you like most about your paper? (Explain the strengths
   of your essay.)

2.What do you like least? (What is still not working as well as
you'd like? Why couldn't you fix it?)

3.What passage did you work hardest on?

4.What else would like me to know about your processes or experience
of writing this paper? (Any miscellaneous tragedies you feel you
   must report?)

5.Based on your understanding of the requirements for this assignment,
what grade does this paper earn? Why?

WR 39B: Final Draft Checklist

Final Drafts of Assignments #1, 2, and 4, should be accompanied by
the following:

1.Acknowledgments paragraph - acknowledge by name the individuals
(your peer reviewers, cousin, roommate, etc.) who helped you with
your paper, and explain the specific kinds of help each gave you.

Note: No one else should generate the actual language of your paper.

2.Works Cited Page with revised 4-sentence annotations for each
   bibliographic entry.

Note: See page 79 in Writing from A to Z for a picture of a Works
Cited page. On your own Works Cited page, remember to include
      your annotations after each entry.

3.Writer's Memo should be typed on a separate sheet of paper.

4.Working Draft with instructor's marks and comments.

5.Peer Review - submit all peer review comments from your classmates,
whether these were written on your Working Draft or on separate
sheets. Make sure the reviewers who wrote these comments are
   identified by name.

6.The Paper - if you turn in the first five items and fail to turn in
the paper itself, do not be surprised if I give you a strange, somewhat
bewildered look the next time I see you.
