Description: Workshop explains the purpose, format, and content of the Curriculum Vitae. Learn how to create and critique your academic CV. In addition, the purpose, format, and content of a good cover letter will be discussed.
Writing your Resume & Cover Letter for Graduate Students

Description: Workshop provides purpose, format and content of the resume. Learn to write an effective resume and cover letter to be used to find a job in business, government or the non-profit sector.
Preparing for an Academic Interview
Friday, February 8
Description: Observe an interview process and learn what types of questions you might get asked. Take the opportunity to practice answering an interview question and get some feedback.
Preparing for Interviewing for Graduate Students

Description: This workshop will give an overview of what an employer is looking for in an industry/business, government and/or non-profit job interview and how to prepare. Will also include information about the types of questions you will be asked as well what questions you should be asking.
