Join AGS Council: Run for a seat in the spring or fill vacant seats throughout the year by contacting the AGS President at president@ags.uci.edu.

Join Committees: Participate in active groups working to better the lives of graduate students and the UCI community, all AGS committee seats are open to all AGS members (graduate and professional students in good standing).
AGS Internal Committees
Internal and External Committees: Advance AGS council objectives and goals by working either within UCI or participating in the state wide actions and student government. Contact the VP Internal or the VP External at vpinternal@ags.uci.edu and vpexternal@ags.uci.edu, respectively.
Pub Advisory Board, GSHIP, Business and Finance and Social Committees: Work on AGS' financial investment in the pub, the graduate student health insurance plan, AGS' financial independence from student fees or developing the social environment of graduate student life at UCI by contacting the VP Admin at vpadmin@ags.uci.edu and the associated chairs and staff for these committees.
Academic Senate
Participate in a wide vaiety of committees that combine student, faculty and admin to address the needs of the University. Appointments made by the VP Admin, vpdmin@ags.uci.edu.
Other Committees
Participate in a whole range of other committees and groups throughout campus with a whole host of objectives by appointment through the VP Admin or work to start your own interest group.
