Yes, the AGS web server can host weblogs. AGS offers weblogs using Quills. AGS can not support any other weblog such as WordPress or TypePad.
To sign up for a weblog, first join the AGS website. Once you are logged in, navigate to your folder by clicking on my folder which appears to the left side of the browser window a little bit below the search box. Once there, you can add item to your folder. Select weblog and fill in the blanks.
To make the weblog appear as the default page in your folder, re-navigate back to your folder. Click on contents. Check the check box next to your weblog and click rename. Change the weblog's Short Name to index_html and click rename all.
Your weblog is now the default document. Don't forget to publish your enteries, otherwise they will be invisible.
