Grad Council deals with all graduate student related issues. For changes to PhD requirements and other major program modifications, Grad Council must formally approve for the changes to take effect. For issues like housing, Grad Council offers advice to the faculty and administrators who make the final decisions. This is the most important Academic Senate committee for graduate students, and a prime place for us to make our voice heard on campus. There are three graduate seats on this Council.

The Committee on Research, Computing and Library Resources (CORCLR) reviews research centers, computing needs and oversees the libraries. Things like the cost of keeping the school's subscription to various research journals, the current e-mail filters used by NACS and the availability of wireless internet on campus are discussed in this committee. There is one graduate representative on this committee.
