The Social Security Administration will be on campus to accept Social Security Number Applications from International Students.
The Social Security Administration will be on campus to accept Social
Security Number Applications from International Students during the
following times:
Dates: Wednesday, September 20, 12 Noon to 3:30 pm
Thursday, September 21, 9 am to 3:30 pm
Location: Palo Verde Community Room
By applying on campus the student will not need to visit a local Social
Security Administration office. We are planning for a large turnout in
order for the SSA to agree to make this a yearly event.
Appointments are not necessary. Students need to be sure to bring the
following to apply for the SSN:
1) I-20 or DS-2019
2) Passport
3) I-94
4) Verification of full-time enrollment (print out from Registrar's
Office)
5) "SSN Student Verification Form" to verify offer of employment and
immigration status*

Student Verification"

Complete the top portion and print in department letterhead. The student
will then be able to receive International Center verification of status
on the bottom portion. Please note, that International Center staff will
be available at these SSN Application sessions to sign these forms.
