WHEREAS the AGS council should be trained to know the duties and

responsibilities for all positions within executive, staff, committee and council capacity.

 

WHEREAS it is advantageous to use an event to foster a plan for

council's growth and function within the University of California at

Irvine.

WHEREAS the AGS executive committee believes a formal event, organized

in a professional manner, for the purpose of information and

presentation would set the stage for a productive year within council.

LET IT THEREFORE BE RESOLVED that we set aside $1,500.00 for a formal conference at a location to be deteremined with the requirement that at least 20 council members attend.
