Resolution 09-71 Approve of 2009-2010 Social Committee Events

 WHEREAS AGS Council approved a Social Committee Charter on March 31, 2009, and
 
WHEREAS the AGS Social Committee Charter charged the Social Committee with creating and executing social and community graduate student events and spreading awareness of AGS, and
 
 WHEREAS the Social Committee has planned and budgeted several events for the 2009-2010 academic year, and
 
WHEREAS the Social Committee believes the proposed events meet the expectations of the Social Committee Charter and reflect a wide-range of diverse graduate student interests, and
 
WHEREAS the AGS 2009-2010 Council Budget has allocated $12,000 for “Social Events” under Budget line item 6511-9020.
 
 LET IT THEREFORE BE RESOLVED that AGS Council approve the attached AGS Social Committee Calandar of Events scheduled for the 2009-2010 academic year.
