To all graduate students,

Good News- The insurance numbers have been loaded and you can now access your ID# to print out a temporary card that can be used for medical care and prescriptions until your permanent card arrives at this website www.uhcsr.com

Medical benefits will be provided by Student Resources. Over the past few years medical insurance has been provided by Pacific care. Two years ago pacific care was purchased by United Healthcare. Last year the only change to your insurance was that the card now read Pacific Care a United Health Care company. This year the plans will be administered by United Health care Student Resources. That is because United Healthcare now has a branch that deals exclusively with student plans. The plan benefits are the same the only difference is the administration of the plan.

What this change means to you as a student *Improved customer service and claims service because of experience in student plans *New insurance Cards and ID numbers *Same copay and deductible *Continued dental coverage by western dental *Continued Vision Coverage and Student Health (See GSHIP website for information on using your dental and vision plans)

What you need to do as a student

*download a temporary card if you need medical care before your card arrives *Check the Student Resources webpage to make sure your provider is covered (changes to providers and pharmacies occur from year to year regardless of plan changes and it is your responsibility to make sure your medical provider is covered)
