The following section represents a detailed chronology of events relevant to the investigation of sex ring cases in Wenatchee. Because of its detail and its complexity this section might be more properly placed in the appendix section of this report. Because this chronology is useful in demonstating that these facts are indeed detailed and complex, and because the following sections will make reference to these facts I have included it in proximity to these sections.
This chronology is intended for reference and not for careful reading.
2/26/92 School counselor approached D.E. who said her private hurt. Called WPD Off. Drescher.
2/26/92 Examination D.E. by Dr. Ettinger,ER doctor. Pelvic area "grossly normal." Said 2 boys touched.
2/28/92 Interview D.E. by Drescher/Carrow. Julioand Pancho put fingers in her vagina on 2/25/92.
3/2/92 Interview Harold/Idella Everett. On 2/25/92 D.E. told Dresker 2 boys kicked her in Alley. On 2/27/92 she said 2 boys pulled her pants down.
3/3/92 Carrow took D.E. to Dr. Eisert of Wenatchee Valley Clinic. Findings consistent with sexual abuse.
Interview of M.E. by Drescher. No observation of molest of D.E.
Interview of R.E. by Drescher. Saw Julio hit Donna in privates with a stick in alley Carrow interviewed Harold/Idell Everett. Agreed to voluntary placement of D.E. D.E. made statements to Debi Cawdery in foster care. Originally said 2 boys, then friend of sister's who put hand in vagina.
3/16/92 Interview D.E. with Dresker, Carrow. Whispered name "Abel" to stuffed animal.
3/19/92 Abel Foncesco Lopez arrested. Victim: D.E. Incident date: 2/25/92. Trial, conviction child rape 1, child molestation 1.
5/10/93 Dependency Fact Finding report. D.E. appears depressed at home. M.E. never has disclosed any abuse/neglect issues.
9/24/93 Interview P.H. by Perez. Abuse by father, Selid Holt. Brothers D.H. and M.H. observed these incidents. Told mother, Laura Holt, several times.
9/24/93 Interview Laura Holt by Perez at Rape Crisis Center. Had found out yesterday that Selid had been seeing another woman. He admitted to her sex with P.H. because Laura didn't please him in bed

6/94 Perez makes sexual jokes about Devereax at luncheon attended by CPS workers. Implies he will get him someday. (4/6/95 Affidavit by Paul Glassen.
6/6/94 Interview S.C., J.L.C. by Perez with mother present. Unwilling to disclose.
6/6/94 Arrest, interview: Henry Cunningham. Admissions. Victims: J.D.C., S.C. J.LC
6/10/94 Perez interview: S.C., J.L,C. Perez tells them father admitted molest.They seemed "eager to speak" as mother visiting their sister, J.D.C at Pinecrest hospital in Coeur d'Alene. Described molests by Henry Cunningham. Mom knew what wewere doing.
Locations: home, father's office at Dept. of Labor and Industries, using rope. J.L.C. said mother sometimes touched. (Note: J.D.C. disclosed to a doctor at Pinecrest.
6/10/94 Arrest Connie Cunningham.Perez. Victims: J.D.C. S.J.C, J.L.C. (11/12/94 Convicted 560 mo. exceptional sentence. Complicity to incest x12, Judge Small.) Incident dates 8/88 6/15/94.
7/7/94 Perez advised that P.H. disclosed sex abuse by mother Laura Holt. CPS advised of disclosure in counseling.
7/7/94 Interview, arrest Laura Holt. Perez said Patty disclosed. Admissions: Sid, her. D.H, P.H., M.H. 1528 counts at arrest. Location: 512 So. Mission.
Incident dates: 1/87 12/93. (Alford plea 9/22/94)
7/11/94 Perez asks Debbie Gambell, foster parent for P.H., D.H., M.H. to bring P.H. to WPD. Interview: P.H. Named Laura Holt, Selid H~lt, Meredith TownD.H. as her molesters. At 512 So. Mission, family residence, and 610 S. Mission, Town home.
7/11/94 Interview Dean Holt by Perez. Abusers: Selid Holt, Laura Holt. Sex with him, P.H., dog.
7/30/94 Interview A.R. by Adcock. Admits putting iodine in Devereax drink. Angry at Devereaux because he caught her having sex with boyfriend and said she couldn't see him. Charge: 2 counts assault 1, 1 count assault 2 (103 129 weeks potential penalty.)

8/3/94 Interview A.R. by Perez. Statements re Devereaux sexual abuse of her.
Interview A.S. by Perez. Told her he had already talked to another girl about Devereaux. No admission.
Interview A.K. by Perez. No admiss.
Interview Tracy Hockett by Perez. No admiss.
Interview A.S. Initial denial. Perez told her he'd talked to other girls and to Devereaux. A.S. made to wait at station while Perez interviewed. A.K, T.H. and Devereax. Second session included disclosure re: Devereaux. Done in presence of A.K, Devereaux made her sit on his lap facing away. Touched on breasts and in vaginal area. No one present. Later said Devereaux raped her 5x month. Would stab or kill her if she told.
8/3/94.Arrest Robert Devereaux by Perez. victims: A.S., A.R, child rapel: 335 counts, child molest 1: 335 counts.
8/3/94.Upon arrest of Devereaux, Perez leaves children unattended at foster home and they call Paul Glassen who comes out.
8/4/94 .Paul Glassen interviews A.R. who recants to him. Reports this fact to authorities.
8/5/94 .Arrest: Paul Glassen. Witness tampering for above. (Later dismissed and charged with obstructing justice.)
8/11/94 Interview Cherie Town by Perez. Confession naming Randall Reed, Michael Rose.
9/15/94 Arrest Doris Green. Perez. Admits sex with D.H., J. G, M.H. P.H. (Re: DH, she in bathroom with soap on face and D.H. came up behind her and put a piece of rope around her neck. He tightened rope and forced her to have intercourse in bath tub.) (Trial 280 months CRlx3)
9/19/94 Information: Randall Reed. James Town, William Town (plea 11/9/94 CMlx2). Incident date 11 12/93. Plea statement: no memory because of liver damage.

2/8/95 Interview A.S. by Perez/Alexander. After initial denial and upon questioning said C.M., D.E., A.M. present when Devereaux molested her. Couch/living room. Devereaux, Steinborn, another guy. Intercourse, etc. People on couches all over floor. After direct question re CPS people present said Paul Glassen joined in.
2/13/95 Interview/arrest Donna Hidalgo. Perez. booked 416 counts child rape 1. Victims: Melinda, Donna, Shawn, Ronnie. Location: 838 Cashmere: house/shed. Source DE, ME (1/20/95). Incident dates: 1/1/90 12/31/91.

5/10/95 Interview A.M. by Perez/Alexander/Fore. Sleepover at Westwood. Pastor Robby would come rape her in room. 3xweek. Connie had vaginal contact. Everett house. Harold/Idella, Donna Rodriguez. Devereaux house: slumber party. Switching kids, adults. More men downstairs. Same thing. Devereaux, mother, Larry Steinborn, bald guy with glasses.
6/2/95 Interview A.S. by Chris Beck. All group sex at Devereaux house stopped after 1992. (Previously said 1993 4). Laying around in circles like a cult.
5/11/95 Interview Scharlann Filbeck by Helvey. Jail: Connie Roberson, Robbie Roberson, Idella Everett, Bill Davis, Hannah Simms. Children including D.E., M.E. R.R. During service would call children to front after singing and touch them. Roberson raped her 10/92.
5/22/95 Arrest: Hannah Sims. Sunday school teacher, Pentacostal church. (Note: bail set by pro tem judge Kathleen Schmidt who is also guardian ad litem for one of complaining witnesses.)

8/31/95 Leo Catcheway pleads to 3 counts child rape 1, admission that took place at Holt home. No film found.
9/8/95 Chelan County Prosecutor drops all felony counts against Robert Devereaux in exchange for his plea to misdemeanors of assault 4 and rendering criminal assistance. Judge Small. Sentence: 24 months with credit for time served and no further jail time. 240 hours community service. No contact with minors.
9/14/95 Linda Miller convicted at jury trial of 8 counts child molestation one. Jury went out to deliberate 3:30 and came back 8:20 p.m.
