Scott Kaufman was born in Plainsfield, N.J. on December 23, 1976. He lived in Randolph, New Jersey until he was 3 and in Ft. McMurray, Canada the next 3 years. He then returned to Randolph, where he lived until he was 10, when his family relocated to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a bonafide Southerner until the the age of 21, when he left Baton Rouge to attend graduate school. He currently lives with his wife in the beautifully antiseptic city Irvine, CA.

His interests include, but are not limited to, watching all forms of televised sporting events. An avid NY Mets and Seattle Supersonics fan, Scott tends to whittle away countless hours with ass on couch and long-neck in hand. He also enjoys watching various serialized television dramas, although currently he only keeps up with Law and Order and the remarkably clever Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. While not watching television, Scott enjoys spending time in his organic garden with his wife of 2 years, Meg, as well as lifting heavy objects in a futile attempt to blend in with the native Californians.
