Bill 13-20 To Fund Quantitative Microdevice Journal Club

 WHEREAS Article V, Section 6 of the AGS constitution encourages funding (and presumably promotion) of events that serve to “improve the social and academic environment of UCI campus for graduate students,”

 
WHEREAS the QMJC is a student-initiated forum to foster the discussion of an important academic topic, quantitative methodology, that is often glossed over in other academic contexts,
 
WHEREAS multiple schools are represented in the core membership of QMJC, and  QMJC is actively seeking to expand its membership and departmental representation,
 
LET IT THEREFORE BE RESOLVED that $150 from Special Projects be allocated to fund Spring Quarter’s final 3 meetings of the QMJC.
