Bill 18-32 To Ratify Additional Project Funds Allocations 5/2018

WHEREAS Project Funds are intended to financially support student organizations in developing events and other programming to benefit the UCI graduate student community; AND

WHEREAS Funding Committee has been tasked with making provisional allocations to student organizations applying for these funds, furnished by the Associated Graduate Students; AND

WHEREAS Funding Committee recommends that the Queer Graduate Caucus (QGC) be allocated $500 for their event on May 31st, 2018; AND

WHEREAS the organization shows consistent outreach to the entire graduate student community; AND

WHEREAS the event seeks to bring together queer grad students and allies from across the university and help foster a more inclusive community at UCI; AND

WHEREAS the benefits of these events to the graduate student committee are further described in the attached documents;

LET IT THEREFORE BE RESOLVED that AGS fund the Queer Graduate Caucus (QGC) Association at $550 from the project funds budget.
